Explore the beach, mangroves and mudflats of Cooya Beach (Kuyu Kuyu) with a Kubirri Warra Clan member, learn how to throw a spear then join the fishing expedition across the tidal beach in search of prey.  Afterwards enjoy a tasty treat of the days catch whilst you listen to stories of the Kuku Yalanji people.

The traditional fishing experience involves a 1.5 hour walk across beach, mudflats and through the tidal waters of the coastal mangrove system.
